T/5 Horace E. Whitson, son of Mrs. J. B. Parish, Olney, attended Olney High. Entered Army in 1944, trained at Sheppard Field, Tex., Keesler Field, Miss., and Camp Claiborne, La. Served in Philippines and battles of Saidor, Aitope, Leyte, and Luzon.
