Clint Grissom served in the US Army from June of 1968 until July of 1971. He served during the Vietnam Era and was attached to the First Air Cavalry from November 1968 until his discharge. His unit was in the Hua Shaue Valley at Fire Base Ripcord.  He served as a door gunner and crew chief on a Huey.
