Jasper Wells served in the US Army. During WWII, he was stationed in Australia, New Guinea, and the Philippines.

This Veteran's name  was also included in the Graham Leader, Nov. 11, 2007 edition, in a salute to Veterans of WWII,  "The Greatest Generation".
