S 2/c Bishop Marvin Osborn, son of Mrs. Callie Bradshaw, Newcastle, husband of Marie Bennett, Newcastle, attended Newcastle Schools. Entered Navy, 1944, trained at Great Lakes and San Francisco. Served in S. Pacific. Awarded GCM, Victory and S. Pacific Ribbons. Discharged in 1945.
