Sgt. William L. Simmons, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Simmons, Loving, husband of Veda Barnett, Loving, attended Loving Schools. Entered Army, 1942, trained at Camp Claiborne, La. Served in Iran, Iraq and Palestine. Awarded Middle East Theater and GC Medal. Discharged in 1945.
