Pvt. Charles B. Sipes, son of Mrs. Odie Sipes, Olney, attended Olney High. Entered Infantry, 1944, trained at Camp Fannin. Served in Italy. Awarded GC Medal and ETO Ribbon. Killed in Italy in 1944.
