William H. Wells, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Wells, Olney, husband of Thalie Jones, attended Olney High. Entered Army in 1943, trained in Camp Roberts, Cal. Served in New Guinea, Aust., and Philippines. Awarded 5 battle stars, and 6 Medals. Discharged in 1946.
