Pfc. R. B. West, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. West, Olney, attended Olney High. Entered Army in 1945, trained at Ft. Ord, Cal., and Camp Hood, Texas. Served in Pearl Harbor and Korea. Awarded GCM and AP Ribbons.
