T/3 J. B. Carter, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Carter, Olney, attended Padgett School. Entered Army, 1942, trained at Camp Barkeley, Texas and Miami, Fla. Served in Puerto Rico. Awarded GCM. Discharged in 1945.
