Sgt. O. C. Kent, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Kent, Olney, husband of Lois Shields, attended Olney High. Entered Army, 1942, trained at Ft. Warren, Wyo. Served in N. Africa, Inda and Burma. Awarded GCM, 1 Battle Stars, AD, Victory and APO. Discharged in 1946.
