Pfc. Floyd W. Smith, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Smith, attended Groesbeck High. Entered Army in 1942, trained at Camp Barkeley. Served in European Theater. Awared ETO Ribbon with 5 Battle Stars, Bronze Arrowhead, Combat Badge and Victory Medal. Discharged, 1945.
