Pfc. Hubert Lewis, son of T. W. Lewis, Ballenger, husband of Ada Lou Brown, attended San Saba High. Entered Army in 1942, trained at Camp Barkeley, Texas, La., Cal., and Ga. Served in ETO. Awarded EAME, Bronze Stars, GCM, 2 Overseas Bars. Discharged in 1945.
