Entered Army AF in 1943, trained at Keesler Field, Miss., Harlingen Field, Tex., and Idaho. Served in New Guinea, Biak Isl., Palau, Leyte, Mindanae, and Luzon. Awarded GCM, Air Medal with 3 OLCs, APO with 4 Bronze Stars and Philippine Lib. with 1 Bronze Star. Dicharged in 1945.
