Wells, Richard F.

Cpl. Richard F. Wells, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Wells, Newcastle, attended Newcastle High. Entered Army in 1944, trained at Camp Fannin, Texas. Served in EAME. Awarded Victory Ribbon, GCM, EAME, 2 Bronze Stars, and Purple Heart. Wounded in Hurtgen Forest, 1944. Discharged in 1946.
