1st Sgt. Harry E. Vance, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Vance, Loving, husband of Jaunita Woodall, attended Loving School. Entered Army in 1942, trained at Camp Rucker, Ala., Nashville, Tenn., Camp Horne, Ariz., and in Cal. Served in S. Philippines, and Palau. Awarded AT Ribbon, AP Ribbon, Phil. Lib., with 1 bronze star, Victory Ribbon, and GCM. Discharged in 1946.
